symbiomimicry is materials and living organisms simultaneously. this bio-fabrication disrupts traditional material creation procedure and challenges our roles as designers. here, the materials are not passive and obedient entities within the design process but call for a new approach that guides organisms during growth. the hybrid and living materials installation shows how to design an environment for collaboration with living materials  – dynamic processes and relationships – rather than forms and structures
